Renewable Events Calendar

Many events happen all over but how is one supposed to know about them all. Let us do the homework for you and we shall post them here for you to consider attending. Some are outdoor Show type events, some are lecture type and some are even exhibitions. All will be related to the same theme, save our beautiful planet for generations to come by using renewable technologies to do it.

APRIL - JUNE 2008

Sun 6th April 2008 : Perth Sun Fair: Held in the grounds of UWA. It is is aimed at introducing the people of Perth to sustainable living concepts, technology and lifestyles. Major themes of the fair include renewable energy, energy efficiency, environment conservation and natural living.

Sat 10th May 2008: Energy Sustainability Expo: Held in the grounds of Greenwood Senior Highschool, Coolibah Drive, Greenwood between 1PM - 4PM. Find out how to adopt more sustainable energy practices in your home. Save ennergy in your business. See Toyota's latest Hybrid car. The Expo is designed to provide a one-stop shop of information.

Fri 30th May - Mon 2nd June 2008: The MBA Building & Home Improvement Show featuring the SEDO Sustainable Energy Expo: Held at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. Whether building from new or upgrading an existing home, the concept of diverting grey water to the garden or turning your roof top into a power generator is now a reality. Find out how at this 4 day event.

JULY - SEPTEMBER 2008

Wed 30th July - Sat 2nd Aug 2008: ATRAA 2008: Held at the Sebel & Citigate, Albert Park, Melbourne. Hosted by the Clean Energy Council, ATRAA 2008 provides Australian solar business with the opportunity to address key issues affecting this growing industry. The forum has been running for over 30 years and is hailed as the biggest solar industry event in Australia, attracting key business leaders from around the nation and internationally.

Thurs 4th - Sun 7th Sept 2008: Conscious Living Expo: Held at the Claremont Showgrounds Exhibition Centre. Visit Australia's longest running and leading exhibition event for Health, Lifestyle and Environment. Established since 1988.

Sat 13th Sept & Thurs 18th Sept 2008: Australia's Inconvienient Truth: Free thought provoking presentations based on Al Gore's award winning documentary. Held in the grounds of Kings Park. Session 1 (13th Sept) located near the main stage, botanic garden and Session 2 (18th Sept) Biodiversity conservation centre. Sat 20th Sept 2008: Envirofest 2008: Held at Piney Lakes Environmental education centre, Piney Lakes, Melville. Between 10AM and 8PM. This event has over 23 environmental displays and interactive workshops. It is a unique festival for those who care about the environment and want to learn more, set in the middle of the tranquill Piney Lakes bush reserve. for moe info and the brochure click here.

OCTOBER - DECEMBER 2008

Sun 12th Oct 2008: Retro Fitting Expo: Held at the Fremantle town hall, gold coin donation. 10AM - 5PM. Make your home more energy and water efficient. Exhibits and short workshops to help you retro fit your home. For more info clickhere.

Mon 24th - Wed 26th Nov 2008: Clean Energy Council Conference and Exhibition. To be held at the Gold Coast Exhibition Center, Broadbeach, Queensland. At the Clean Energy Council Conference & Exhibition 2008 you will have access to the latest policy and market developments, first hand information and knowledge on clean energy projects; in-depth briefings on recent technological advancements, energy efficiency, planning, community and new environmental initiatives.
