Grid Connect Solar Systems:
Grid Connect Systems use solar panels to generate electricity. The power is then fed back to Synergy (The Grid) to offset your usage and thus reduce your electricity bill.

• Entry level 1kW Grid Connect System from $3327.
• 1kW Expandable Grid Connect Systems are also available, POA.

The current government rebate is $8000 on a 1kW system. To install a $12,000 system into your home will increase it's value significantly.

New Technology EPV Thin-Film Panels:
On certain installations we use Thin-Film which is a really attractive option if you have a large roof area to utilise.
It's benefits include:

• Costs less per watt so is more affordable
  
• Produces more power in shade affected conditions
  
• Will outperform Mono-Crystalline on a yearly basis due to the way it uses
  the available light even in cloudy or dull conditions.

Battery Backup systems:

Grid Connect Systems stop feeding power to your home if the Grid experiences a power failure. This is to prevent the power you are generating from going back up the line and "zapping" the Western Power Staff who may be trying to repair the Grid. This is known as anti-islanding and is a legal requirement of the system. We provide two different ways to ensure the essential circuits in your home eg. Fridge and lights keep running during a power failure. These are an indication of our Backup Systems.
